As mentioned yesterday, Summer Rae has been training for a return from her shoulder injury and could make a surprise appearance at the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania, where Alexa Bliss is set to take on the purposefully ambiguous “every available woman” on SmackDown.
It was reported a couple of months ago that WWE had been contacting women wrestlers from the past, with one name that was thrown around a lot being Kelly Kelly. She has said that she will be involved with WrestleMania in some capacity, so that match obviously seems like a possibility.
According to Dave Meltzer, Maria Kanellis, who recently left Impact, is going somewhere “secret” and that could mean she ends up back in WWE. Victoria is another possible name, according to Meltzer.
Lita is also a remote possibility, since she wrestled an independent match a couple of weeks ago.
Naomi has also said she’s working on coming back and has not ruled out being ready in time for WrestleMania.
Tamina Snuka has been working SmackDown house shows.
Eva Marie finally making her return is also a possibility.
Emma could even jump ship to SmackDown, I guess, somehow.
Right now the match is Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Mickie James vs. Natalya.
