JBL Responds to Bullying Allegations

On Twitter, JBL responded to someone who asked him if he has commented about the rumors going around about his bullying.

JBL then said this about the Justin Roberts situation, where Roberts’ book revealed he was severely bullied by JBL and others during his time in WWE.

I won't answer Net rumors-but I didn't take Justin Roberts passport. Could have been anyone/he was hated by the whole crew. He's an idiot.

Roberts did not say that JBL took his passport in the book, only that “someone” stole it, and JBL ignored all the other parts that Roberts talked about.

– Someone from Smackdown stole Justin’s passport from his bag on the final night of a tour to the UK. It was never returned. He had to go to the US embassy in London to get it reissued. “Stealing a passport out of someone’s bag is a pretty evil rib and not giving it back means it’s no longer a rib”.

– When they were in Japan on a tour, there was two tour buses – faces and heels. “Bradshaw had both buses pull over”. They wouldn’t move until Justin was moved from the face bus to the heel one. JBL and his cronies then bullied Justin for the entire journey. “I was very comfortable working the RAW tours. I was scared for my life to work SmackDown tours”.

– “JBL would throw my bags down the street…he typically referred to me as dipshit and numbnuts despite my always trying to do a great job…every day I saw him, he asked me why I was still alive and told me to go kill myself”.

In a Reddit AMA, Justin Roberts said this in response to a question about JBL:

He terrorized guys.

It’s funny because people are bringing this up now because of the stuff going on now and the book release, but this was like 2003-2004; it was a long time ago.

He terrorized me, and a lot of guys. He’d make life hell for a lot of guys. He chewed Miz and Morrison out after they won the titles for not celebrating enough.

He was eventually let go back then, and when he came back he was a lot better, but he was mostly only showing up for TV. Even now, it comes across on commentary with how he is with Byron.
