Emma Gives a Brief Injury Update

Emma seemed to injure her shoulder during a match in Liverpool, England on Sunday. She posted this on Twitter today:

She had her arm in a sling earlier today, according to Dave Meltzer.

She also mentioned that she was leaving WWE’s Europe tour to get medical tests in the United States:

As previously reported:

The injury occurred during a tag match involving Emma and Mickie James facing off against Sasha Banks and Bayley. After Sasha hit Emma with her double knee drop from the turnbuckle, Emma landed awkwardly on her right shoulder causing the injury. The match itself was stopped by the referee after Emma was unable to continue and required immediate medical assistance.
