— Those close to Matt Hardy say he is hopeful to be officially released from World Wrestling Entertainment this week. Furthermore, it has been indicated that WWE officials will be making a decision regarding Hardy’s future with the organization within the next few days.
— Regarding the status of the Unified Divas Championship, Michelle McCool noted while on commentary during this week’s RAW that SmackDown! consultant Vickie Guerrero wrote into Lay-Cool’s contracts that both she and Layla are co-holders of the newly launched belt. Thus, both Divas are able to defend the title. However, the WWE website officially recognizes McCool as the Unified Divas Champion.
