On Twitter, someone asked Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter if Jinder Mahal was being paid more as WWE Champion and Meltzer replied: “Much more.”
It makes sense, since he’s working a lot more events on tour and on TV recently and WWE typically has “minimum” pay amounts in their contracts, with pay being adjusted depending on what wrestlers do on the card, PPV matches, if they are working main events, etc. He also has merchandise now, which WWE wrestlers get a cut of.
@davemeltzerWON now the jinder is champ is he getting paid more
