Shelton Benjamin in Talks Again for WWE Return

Shelton Benjamin is currently reported to be in talks again with the WWE for a return to the company, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.

A deal is not expected to be made official soon but talks were reported to be far enough where it is likely just a matter of time before a contract is signed.

WWE originally had plans for Shelton to make his return for the Smackdown brand as part of last year’s draft before those plans were suddenly dropped. Shelton later revealed him suffering a shoulder injury during a match in Japan and WWE only finding out after he failed a physical were the reasons those plans were changed.
