Did Impact Just Spoil Their Slammiversary PPV? (Potential Spoilers)

On tonight’s Slammiversary PPV, Alberto El Patron will face Lashley for the unified Impact/GFW World Championship. On the TV Guide preview for this Thursday’s Impact Wrestling episode, it says that “Alberto El Patron will hold a celebration.”

July 6 preview:

It’s all about the fallout from Slammiversary. Alberto El Patron will hold a celebration in the ring with a guest of honor, but an unwelcomed visitor makes their way to the IMPACT Zone. LAX announces their newest member, and things go south for Sonjay Dutt. Also: the Super X Cup ’17 will make a return.

In the above preview, they tease a new member in LAX, but then also just spoil who the new member is in the next episode’s preview:

July 13:

We find out if Alberto El Patron is really the newest member of LAX and we learn of Gail Kim’s huge announcement. An international superstar who will fight for the IMPACT Grand Championship makes his debut. Also: X Division Champion Sonjay Dutt is on the hunt for the thief who stole his belt.

They also refer to Sonjay Dutt (who is in an X Division Championship match at Slammiversary) as “X Division Champion Sonjay Dutt.”
