In a Global Force Wrestling media conference call today, Jeff Jarrett was asked about the Alberto El Patron suspension. GFW originally said that they wouldn’t be commenting other than the statement they already made, but Jarrett added that the situation is “unfortunate,” according to the Wrestling Observer, and GFW is continuing to investigate.
Jarrett was asked if GFW would edit him out of upcoming episodes and he said that everyone knows that the shows were taped before the incident and he felt that it would damage their brand to edit the footage out.
Jarrett was then asked if Alberto would be stripped of the GFW Championship, but he said that that hasn’t been addressed yet because it’s not what’s most important right now.
