“Free agent” John Cena is currently only being advertised for Raw-brand events after SummerSlam on August 20.
On WWE.com’s upcoming events page, Cena is listed as a “featured superstar” on several upcoming Monday Night Raws, including the night after SummerSlam in Brooklyn.
Cena is not listed as a “featured superstar” for the Tuesday SmackDown Live following SummerSlam in Brooklyn, or any other upcoming SmackDown Lives.
Of course, Cena just landed a lead role in an upcoming Transformers movie, which has started production, so he may be taking another absence soon anyway.
