As mentioned yesterday, on Monday’s episode of WWE Network’s “Bring It to the Table,” it was brought up that Enzo Amore has a lot of backstage heat and “rubs a lot of people the wrong way.” JBL even said that in the past, once the locker room turned on someone, there were not many guys who “made it” after that. They also specifically brought up an incident where Enzo Amore was thrown off a WWE tour bus by Roman Reigns after some people got mad at him.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the incident that “broke the camel’s back” involved Enzo Amore talking very loudly on his phone about what was perceived by some as something “negative about the business,” then bragging about how much money he was making from the business.
According to Meltzer, there are a lot of ideas that have been thrown around about what to do with Enzo, including sending him back to NXT. The idea is that he’s still extremely popular with fans and could be a draw for NXT as a signature star. He would also be away from Vince McMahon, who reportedly enjoys booking Enzo as someone who runs his mouth a lot, then gets beat up easily and thrown around like a rag doll.
Another idea that has been thrown around is a move to 205 Live, which is something that Corey Graves brought up on Bring It to the Table as a move he’d like to see happen. According to Meltzer, Graves is “hardly the first person to have made that suggestion.”
