HoHo Lun Gives Official Statement on WWE Release
As previously reported, WWE released HoHo Lun earlier in the week with the reason given due to Lun needing to deal with some “family issues.”
During a recent interview with WWE’s website, HoHo Lun revealed he left the WWE in order to attend to his mother in Hong Kong who is currently dealing with an illness.
“I went to Hong Kong for vacation about three weeks ago and that’s when I realized that my mother is sick. That’s why I decided to tell Matt Bloom, the head coach of the PC, that I wanted to request my release.”
During the same interview, WWE credited Lun with helping recruit Chinese talent for the company while Lun himself hinted at wanting to make a return to the WWE in the future.
