Paige will not be charged with domestic battery (or anything else) for the airport incident with Alberto El Patron last month, TMZ is reporting.
The Orlando PD originally recommended that Paige be charged with battery for throwing a drink at Alberto, but the case has been closed because Alberto did not want to move forward with any charges, according to a rep for the 9th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office in Florida.
Alberto El Patron was cleared of charges, but was suspended and stripped of the GFW World Championship as a result of the incident. He remains suspended and has not been at any of the GFW tapings this week, meaning he would be off TV until at least November, if he ends up returning at all. Word is that Anthem head Ed Nordholm has a problem with Alberto and is concerned about his behavior in general.
