Current Rumored Plans for the Intercontinental Championship

WWE is rumored to be considering a feud between Samoa Joe and The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship, according to a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.

The Observer’s Dave Meltzer speculated that Joe and Miz teaming up together on this week’s episode of RAW could have been WWE’s way of teasing Miz’s next opponent for his Intercontinental title.

Previously, it appeared Miz was going to feud with Jason Jordan for the Intercontinental Championship. Those plans seem to have been dropped after this week’s episode of RAW when the two did not interact with each other and went in different directions. The only match between Jordan and Miz was the 6-man tag team match on SummerSlam’s pre-show which saw Miz and the Miztourage defeat Jordan and The Hardys.
