Xavier Woods may have suffered a knee injury during Monday’s house show for the SmackDown brand, according to reports from the event in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Woods reportedly injured his knee during a Triple Threat tag team match involving The New Day, Breezango, and SmackDown Tag Team champions The Usos. While performing a jumping DDT, Woods supposedly pushed off awkwardly, causing his knee to buckle. The referee gave the “X” sign for immediate medical attention while one of the Usos rolled up Kofi Kingston to quickly end the match.
Woods was unable to leave on his own and needed assistance from Kofi, Big E, and WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann to help walk backstage.
