Xavier Woods gave an update on the knee injury he suffered this weekend at a WWE house show.
In the video below, Woods revealed that he has an MCL sprain in his knee, but didn’t give much more info than that. Becky Lynch said that she previously had a similar injury and was actually able to wrestle through it without missing time, though it took about a month to fully heal. Based on some quick internet research, an MCL sprain could keep athletes out for anywhere from 1-12 weeks, depending on the severity.
Woods appeared on SmackDown Live tonight, accompanying his New Day partners to the ring. He had a crutch and a sign around his neck that said “IT’S SORE.”
