Pro Wrestling Sheet posted that Jimmy Jacobs, who had been working as a writer for WWE since 2015, is no longer working for the company and it appears that a picture on his Instagram account with the Bullet Club outside Raw was the cause of it.
The Bullet Club “invasion” of Raw really seems to have ruffled some feathers within WWE as they cracked down on the Young Bucks using the Too Sweet gesture a few days afterwards as well. Usually, a picture of WWE employees meeting and having photos taken with friends doesn’t cause any action, even if they’re employed by other companies and WWE even had Okada backstage during SummerSlam, but for whatever reason, the invasion publicity stunt has annoyed WWE much more than something like this usually would.
