As mentioned last night, Nia Jax has been granted a “leave of absence” by WWE management. There have also been rumors that she may have “walked out,” similar to the Neville situation.
Today, PWInsider is confirming that Nia Jax has in fact been removed from previously scheduled dates for the foreseeable future.
Nia, who is a new cast member on the new season of Total Divas that starts on November 1, was scheduled to shoot additional material for the show this Thursday and Friday in New York City, but she has now been removed from that shoot. The reason or how long she may be out is still unknown right now.
PWInsider says that she was never actually at Raw on Monday, so she technically didn’t “walk out,” though the rumors were that the walk out may have occurred last week. However, she had been tweeting all week as if nothing was wrong, so not sure if that rumor seems legit. If she did leave Raw last week, it also doesn’t necessarily mean that she left upset and it could have been for some other reason.

Based on that tweet from Monday afternoon, it appeared that she was planning on continuing a feud with Sasha Banks that night. Sasha ended up in a segment with Alicia Fox, though, and Sasha will face Fox at TLC in a Kickoff Show match. A source told PWInsider that they also believe that the original plan was for Sasha to face Nia at TLC, so Alicia seems to have been a late substitute.
When asked by PWInsider, WWE denied that Nia has “quit.” A “leave of absence” implies that it’s temporary, so we’ll see what happens. WWE also denied the Neville story but all signs point to him being done, though nothing official has been announced yet.
