Longtime wrestling radio show Live Audio Wrestling, which began in 1997, is reported to have suffered major departures and changes, according to PWInsider.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the show is currently on a hiatus after several important staff members were released by Anthem, its parent company, on Monday. Both John Pollock and Jason Agnew were among those released and the reasons were speculated to be related to Anthem’s current financial hemorrhaging caused by their purchase of Impact Wrestling.
While Anthem stated that the show will only be going on a small hiatus for a format change, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that the show has been essentially canceled. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the relaunch will have very little similarities with the former show and will be Live Audio Wrestling in name only.
Effective immediately, The LAW is being placed on a short hiatus. We will be relaunched with a new format in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
