Former WWE and TNA wrestler Matt Morgan, who requested a release from Impact this summer then announced he was running for office in August, has won his election.
Morgan was elected today as Longwood City Commissioner, District 4 in Longwood, Florida. He won 58.5% of the vote, defeating his opponent Mark Weller (41.5%). Morgan ran as an independent, with no party affiliation.
