Emma, who was released by WWE earlier this month, was in talks with the Japanese promotion Stardom, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, those talks fell through because Emma’s asking price of $2,000 per match was too high. She also requested first class tickets and full creative control, which in the end would not have been good business for the company, they felt.
Her non-compete clause with WWE ends on February 1 and she has said that she’ll be taking indie bookings after that date. She’s going by her real name, Tenille Dashwood.
