All three members of The Shield are currently scheduled to be at SmackDown Live this Tuesday, PWInsider says.
They’re expected to face the New Day at Survivor Series, so it’ll most likely have something to do with that. The New Day “invaded” Raw last week, distracting Ambrose and Rollins and costing them the Raw tag titles.
With Tuesday’s SmackDown also being the final SmackDown before Survivor Series, if the Raw roster is going to respond to SmackDown’s invasion a couple of weeks ago, this would be the week, so it’s very possible that the Shield could be joined by more of the Raw roster. Both rosters have been touring Europe for the past couple of weeks so the schedule has not really allowed for a full “invasion.” The go-home show would also make more sense as a big final angle before the PPV anyway.
