Ric Flair Suing His Management Company, Claims They Stole His Money

Ric Flair is suing his old management company, Legacy Talent and Entertainment, claiming that they pocketed thousands of dollars that were paid to him without his knowledge, TMZ is reporting.

Flair claims that he hired a lawyer to investigate his finances after sensing something was wrong and learned that he was supposed to be paid $25,000 for the ESPN “30 for 30” special on his life that aired earlier this month, but that the talent agency never told him about the money. When he confronted them, they claimed that the funds were being used to pay legal bills, but Flair says that he never authorized them to do that.

Flair also says that he discovered a $12,000 royalty check from Jake’s Fireworks, which he signed an endorsement deal with earlier this year.

Overall, he says that he’s owed at least $46,000.

Flair was managed by the company from 2009 until October 2017.
