Drew McIntyre appeared to have injured his left arm in his loss against Andrade Almas at TakeOver tonight.
In the finish of the match, Almas hit a DDT on McIntyre as McIntyre held on to the top rope. After he landed, it looked like his arm went limp and McIntyre continued to grab at his arm after the match, as he sat in the ring, despondent, as officials checked on him.

On Twitter, Taz speculated that it looked like he tore his bicep.
I dont normally do this on here but i just watch the #NXTTakeOver Championship match, looked to me like @DMcIntyreWWE might've torn his bicep on the finish as he held the rope. Could separation in base of his Bicep. Been there, it sucks for Drew. head up brother.

Nothing official has been announced yet, though, so hopefully it’s nothing serious. McIntyre dropped the title, which usually means that a main roster call-up is imminent, so an injury like a torn bicep would obviously be horrible.
Update
Triple H was interviewed by Cathy Kelley after the show and said that it does appear that Drew McIntyre may have a torn bicep. He said that he’s going to get an MRI tomorrow and if it’s what they think it is, he will undergo surgery this week. Brutal…
I just left his locker room and it looks like Drew might… we’re not sure yet… might have a torn bicep. That’s pretty much what put an end to that match. That’s a tough night. […] He’s gonna have a sleepless night. He’s gonna go tomorrow and get an MRI done and probably might end up having surgery this week if it is what we think it is.
WWE also posted this video of a backstage interview with Drew McIntyre after the show.
Interviewer: Toward the end of the match we saw you grabbing your arm like you were in pain. What’s the prognosis?
McIntyre: I don’t know. Felt something go in my arm and… my bicep, elbow area. I, from experience, know it’s probably not good. I won’t know anything official until I talk to the doctor.
