WWE is expected to sign a new “class” of wrestlers to NXT in January, according to PWInsider.
Ricochet
One of those wrestlers, as has been widely expected, is indie and Lucha Underground superstar Ricochet.
Ricochet’s Lucha Underground contract finally expired on October 18, so he’ll be free to sign with WWE after his 90 day non-compete clause expires some time around January 18.
War Machine
Ring of Honor tag team War Machine is also expected to sign with WWE very soon, according to PWInsider. They seemed to “say goodbye” to the crowd at the ROH Final Battle PPV this past weekend. They will wrestle at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 12 on January 4, then should be WWE-bound.
Unknown Woman Wrestler
According to PWInsider, “There are other names circulating as well as potentially being signed, including a very prominent female independent talent.”
