— Here is the latest in the case between Ric Flair and HighSpots. HighSpots has filed suit against Flair, stating that they loaned money that was not repaid. It is said that the NWA Title was put up as collateral by Flair. Depositions are now scheduled for November, and if there is no settlement, the case will go to trial in April of 2011.
— The Ring Roast of Jim Cornette takes place on October 15th in Monroe, NJ. Roasting Cornette will be Al Snow, The Midnight Express, Dutch Mantel, Bob Holly, Missy Hyatt, Prince Nana, Nick Dinsmore, and Amy Lee, and comedians Ryan Maher, Sean Morton, Sean Carlucci, and Roastmaster Bill Apter. The event will eventually be released on DVD, but you can attend the event. V.I.P. packages for the Friday night Roast include a private, one-hour meet and greet with all the stars of the show, and also a front-row seat for the event and cost $100. General Admission seats are currently on sale for $30, and there is even a Four-Pack for $100.
— There is a documentary on Baron Von Raschke in the works.
— Documentary footage for a film of Ted DiBiase Sr.’s life was filmed this past Thursday in Paramus, New Jersey. The event was turned into a “this is your life” style event, and was a surprise to DiBiase as he thought he was going to be making a religious speaking engagement. The project is in editing now, and will feature footage from the last year, including his WWE Hall of Fame induction.
