Mickie James returned to TNA Wrestling during this week’s live iMPACT! broadcast, announcing that she would be the special guest referee for the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship Match between Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne and Tara at Sunday’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view event.
It was reported on September 22nd that James had signed a contract with TNA Wrestling and would return to the promotion during the live iMPACT! broadcast.
James was released by World Wrestling Entertainment on April 22 and TNA Wrestling reportedly began courting her shortly thereafter.
On May 20, TNA president Dixie Carter started the buzz about James possibly joining the organization, announcing on Twitter that she attended her CD release party in Nashville, Tennessee.
