WWE.com says that Alexa Bliss “suffered an injury to her left shoulder” during her match against Nia Jax at Backlash, and she’s currently awaiting further medical evaluation.
Nia was throwing Bliss around extremely recklessly for the entire match, which she seems to do in a lot of her matches. At one point she picked up Bliss by her arm and leg and violently threw her, which seems to me like a time where some sort of shoulder injury could have easily happened.
Upon rewatching the match, Alexa seemed like she was OK until the finish, when Nia hit her with a Samoan Drop. After the pin, Alexa appeared to grab at her left shoulder and she seemed to be in legit tears after the match.
