Various: WWE Releases Zeda, New MitB Match, Best of the Super Juniors

WWE Releases Former MYC and NXT Talent Zeda

WWE is reported to have recently released former Mae Young Classic competitor Zeda, according to website Squared Circle Sirens.

Squared Circle Sires’ Casey Michael reported Zeda was officially released from her NXT developmental contract earlier in the week by the WWE. Zeda is best known in the WWE for competing in last year’s Mae Young Classic tournament and losing in the first round to eventual runner-up Shayna Baszler.

Besides the Mae Young Classic tournament, Zeda was used sparingly during her time in the WWE with just two appearances on NXT television.

New Match Announced for June’s WWE Money in the Bank Event

WWE recently announced a new match for the card of Money in the Bank on June 17th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. This will be a rematch from May’s Backlash event of Big Cass versus Daniel Bryan.

NJPW recently released the full card for Night 13 of their on-going Best of the Super Juniors tournament. This event occurs this Sunday at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan and airs live on New Japan World starting at 5:30AM EST.
