It has been confirmed by multiple sources, including WWE, that Brian Christopher Lawler has passed away. He was taken off of life support today at 4:40 PM ET. He was 46 years old.

Brian Christopher Lawler, son of Jerry Lawler, is on life support after hanging himself in his jail cell Saturday night, TMZ is reporting.

The situation is reportedly dire and he is not expected to recover, and family members are preparing to say their goodbyes, PWInsider says.

Lawler was arrested for a DUI after a police chase on July 6 and was in jail in Bolivar, TN, outside Memphis. Guards reportedly found him in his cell and took him to a hospital, where he was placed on life support. He is 46 years old.
