As noted before, Daniel Bryan’s current contract with WWE is set to expire on September 1st and he has yet to agree to a new deal with the company.
Bryan was a guest on a recent episode of the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast and one of the topics discussed was if Bryan being featured in WWE 2K19’s Showcase mode meant he is staying in WWE. Bryan said that he feels that there is a “90-plus percent chance” he will re-sign with the company although it might be a couple of more weeks before he signs.
“I think at this point it would be 90-plus percent. It’s very likely I’ll re-sign with WWE.
The reality is that’s the probability. I have not re-signed yet but it could happen as soon as the end of this week or it could be a couple more weeks. It’s very likely.”
