Kurt Angle Taking a “Vacation” from Raw “for a Little While”

During Raw tonight, Stephanie McMahon, who had been attacked by Ronda Rousey, told Kurt Angle that being general manager was wearing on him and maybe he needed a vacation. Angle said that he didn’t need a vacation, but Stephanie said that he was still the general manager, but just needed some time off. She then made Baron Corbin the acting general manager of Raw.

On Instagram, Kurt Angle posted, in character, that he “won’t be on Monday Night Raw for a little while,” but he hopes he’ll be back “sooner than later.”

I’m really sorry that I won’t be on Monday Night Raw for a little while. I enjoyed every minute of it with the WWEUniverse. I was told by @stephaniemcmahon that I need a vacation. I don’t know if it’s temporary or permanent. I Hope I will be back sooner than later. Thank you WWEUniverse. Much Love. #itstrue
