Kurt Angle Returns on Raw, Will Wrestle in Saudi Arabia

Kurt Angle made his return to Raw tonight for the first time since being put on a “vacation” by Stephanie McMahon on August 20.

On Raw, there was a “Global Battle Royal,” with the winner getting a spot in the WWE World Cup tournament at Crown Jewel. The participants were Baron Corbin and nine jobbers. Kurt Angle was dressed as the masked wrestler The Conquistador and won the battle royal, hitting Corbin with three German suplexes and an Angle Slam before eliminating him and unmasking himself, getting a big pop from the Chicago crowd.

Angle has been training for a return to the ring for the past few months.
