WWE Says Kevin Owens Is “Injured”

WWE said that Kevin Owens “sustained injuries to both knees when Bobby Lashley viciously wrapped Owens’ legs around a turnbuckle after their match” on Raw.

It seems like an obvious storyline injury, but it could also be covering up for something else. We’ll see if Owens actually misses any time or if this is just to help get Lashley over as a heel.

John Cena will be on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah tomorrow night.

He also hosted the Today Show earlier today and will be on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tonight.

NXT UK TV Update

There will be a “media day” for the NXT UK division on Thursday, according to Dave Meltzer.

Members of the NXT UK roster are under the impression that a UK TV deal will be announced then, Meltzer says.

WWE has been trying to get a TV deal in the UK, where they would air NXT UK on TV first, then put it on the WWE Network later. There was reportedly a deal in place with BT Sports, but that fell through.
