The Undertaker’s promo at the end of SmackDown 1000 last night was supposed to go on for much longer, PWInsider says, but it was cut down because the show went too long.
Undertaker just ended up saying, “I’ve got three words for you. Rest in peace.”
Mysterio vs. Nakamura Match Also Cut Down for Time
The Rey Mysterio vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match also had to be cut short because of time constraints. Mysterio’s entrance was also hurried.
Backstage Segments Cut
Several backstage segments were also cut from the show, according to PWInsider.
James Ellsworth was supposed to originally be on the show, but instead, he shot a backstage segment that just aired on YouTube and WWE.com.
Batista
Batista arrived “late” to the show, PWInsider says. He arrived at around 7:40 PM ET for the show, which went on air at 8.
