Triple H underwent surgery on his torn pectoral muscle today in Birmingham, Alabama, WWE announced.
WWE said that he will “now undergo intensive rehabilitation and his timetable for full recovery is currently undetermined.”
A typical recovery time for surgery on a torn pec is anywhere from 4-9 months, so his likely planned match against Batista at WrestleMania is very much in jeopardy.
The injury happened early in his match at Crown Jewel on Friday, when he was whipped into the corner by Kane and fell over the top rope to the outside, grabbing the rope on his way down.
Out of surgery, happy to report all is well. Thanks to excellent medical care of Dr. Dugas and his team and all the well wishes, messages, tweets, and texts I got over the weekend.
