Dakota Kai Possibly Injured at NXT Show

Dakota Kai appeared to have suffered a leg injury at an NXT house show last night in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

During a six-woman tag match, Kai appeared to tweak her leg and had trouble getting back up at one point. After being checked on by a referee, he threw up the “X” to indicate a legit injury and medical staff came down to check on Kai. She then had to be helped to the back and was limping according to reports from people in attendance.

The match was originally Kai, Candice LeRae and Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. After Kai was injured, it was changed to a 2 on 2 tag match with LeRae and Sane taking on Baszler and Duke.
