The latest episode of “Being the Elite” was released today and it centers around the final weekend for Cody, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page in Ring of Honor. They all wrestled their final matches for ROH on Saturday night and are expected to move to a new promotion run by Cody and the Young Bucks, All Elite Wrestling.
In the video, Cody reiterates that they are “sticking together” and there’s a scene where the character “H” (Triple H) reads a letter from the Young Bucks, which says:
Although this was a difficult decision, we watched an episode of Raw and saw what you guys did to the tag team division.
I know in this business the saying goes, “never say never,” but for now, we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
– M and N
The Young Bucks then superkicked H.
At the end of the episode, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky see countdowns on their phones, counting down to something in 15 days…
Hangman Page and The Young Bucks posted this on Twitter:
I had my last ROH match this weekend. Showed up to their training school for a tryout as a scrawny 18 year old. Made a lot of good friends and memories along the way. Thanks everyone.
