Finn Balor is about to get a “significant push, at least for a little while,” according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
At TLC, Balor defeated Drew McIntyre (albeit with interference), who himself is (or was) also set for a big push before WWE started to cool him down with a couple of losses.
Last year, there were reports that a planned Finn Balor vs. Brock Lesnar Universal title match at the Royal Rumble was scrapped because Vince McMahon didn’t think Balor was “over” enough. WWE’s major lack of top faces probably is a good reason to push Balor also.
