Mustafa Ali may be out of Sunday’s Elimination Chamber match due to injury, according to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.
The injury is apparently not due to the eye injury that he suffered last week during his match with Randy Orton, but due to a concussion that he suffered at a house show on Sunday night, according to PWInsider.
Ali reportedly assured WWE officials that he can work, but WWE is being cautious, Sapp says.
WWE is working on possible replacements if Ali can’t be cleared in time. According to Fightful, WWE is planning to do a storyline where Randy Orton is blamed for injuring Ali and taking him out of the match. As of tonight’s Raw, he was still being advertised.
