— In an update on NBC and WWE ally Bonnie Hammer receiving a promotion, Broadcasting & Cable is reporting that she will be elevated to the position of chairman for NBC Universal Cable Entertainment and Cable Studios once the NBC-Comcast merger is complete. Under the new title, she will be in charge of the USA Network, Syfy, E! Entertainment, G4, Chiller, Sleuth, Universal HD and UCP (Universal Cable Productions).
