As noted before, Arn Anderson was fired from WWE last week over a backstage incident involving him and Vince McMahon at a recent house show.
WrestlingInc reported that the reason for Anderson’s firing was due to Alicia Fox appearing at a recent house show while allegedly intoxicated and Anderson allowing her to wrestle. Vince McMahon was reportedly furious once he learned of Anderson’s decision, leading to his firing shortly afterwards. It’s also been noted that there have been issues with McMahon and Anderson in the past, but this was apparently the final straw.
In regards to Alicia Fox, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that Fox was offered rehab by WWE but reportedly did not follow through and went absent following this incident. Fox reportedly has been on “thin ice” with WWE officials several times in the past including a notable incident with Travis Browne last year and another in 2017 involving her show up over two hours late to an event.
