The wrestling documentary series that has been in the works for a couple of years will finally debut on Viceland on April 10, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
There will be six episodes in the series and they will air each Wednesday at 9 PM ET on Viceland.
The first episode will be about Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth, according to the show’s producer, who was interviewed recently on Jim Cornette’s podcast.
The six episodes will reportedly be about the following topics:
– Randy Savage & Elizabeth
– Bruiser Brody
– The Montreal Screwjob
– The Von Erichs
– Fabulous Moolah
– Gino Hernandez
According to the Observer, the original plan was for ten episodes and an episode about Chris Benoit was on the list, but that was scrapped when the show was cut to six episodes.
Mick Foley will be a narrator on at least one of the episodes.
The title of the show doesn’t seem to be totally confirmed, but “Dark Side of the Ring” was a title at one point last year.
