Jimmy Hart Will Induct The Honky Tonk Man Into the WWE Hall of Fame

Jimmy Hart will induct The Honky Tonk Man into the WWE Hall of Fame, WWE announced today.

Hart managed Honky Tonk Man for most of his early WWF career.

Jimmy Hart was also the manager of the Hart Foundation, who are also being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Their inductor, if any, hasn’t been announced yet.

Hulk Hogan inducting Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake was also announced yesterday.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place this Saturday, April 6 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Jimmy Hart was in The Honky Tonk Man’s corner as he became the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE history. He defeated Ricky Steamboat to become Intercontinental Champion and held onto the title for 454 days, a record that still stands today.
