Impact Rebranding Global Wrestling Network as “Impact Plus”

Impact announced that they’re rebranding their Global Wrestling Network streaming service as “Impact Plus” and are relaunching on May 1.

The move is mostly because GWN was named and launched while Impact was briefly known as “Global Force Wrestling” and that name and partnership are done, so Impact Plus makes a lot more sense.

They also said, “This isn’t just a name change. We are introducing enhanced functionality that makes the app faster and easier to use with more content than ever before, including original series with your favorite IMPACT Wrestling stars that you’ll only see on Plus.”

There will also be “a live special each and every month, included with your Plus subscription” beginning in May.

On May 1st, GWN Becomes IMPACT Plus!

Last night’s Rebellion pay-per-view was historic for many reasons. Brian Cage defeated Johnny Impact to become the new IMPACT World Champion, LAX and the Lucha Bros tore the house down in Full Metal Mayhem, and on top of that, we announced that on May 1st, Global Wrestling Network becomes IMPACT Plus!

This isn’t just a name change. We are introducing enhanced functionality that makes the app faster and easier to use with more content than ever before, including original series with your favorite IMPACT Wrestling stars that you’ll only see on Plus.

And that’s not all. You told us that you wanted our exclusive monthly specials to be live, and beginning in May, we will be presenting a live special each and every month, included with your Plus subscription!

IMPACT Plus will continue to feature:

• Past episodes of IMPACT! (dating back to 2004)
• Every IMPACT pay-per-view in history, from the first Asylum show to Homecoming
• Premier content from more than 15 top independent partner promotions

I’m a current subscriber. What do I need to do to use IMPACT Plus?

Nothing! On May 1st, your subscription will automatically be migrated over from GWN to IMPACT Plus. You should experience no interruption in service, and your monthly subscription will remain exactly the same.

To ensure security, depending on the platform you originally used to subscribe to GWN, you may be prompted to re-add your method of payment.
