New SD Tag Team Champs to Be Crowned This Week + Two Matches Announced for SD

WWE announced that “Shane McMahon will crown new SmackDown Tag Team Champions” this Tuesday on SmackDown. The Hardy Boyz had to vacate the titles last week due to Jeff Hardy’s knee surgery, which will keep him out for 6-9 months.

There are only really five active tag teams on the SmackDown roster: The New Day, Heavy Machinery, The B-Team, The Colons and Rusev & Nakamura.

WWE also announced the following for SmackDown:

– Bayley, Carmella & Ember Moon vs. Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

– Ali vs. Andrade

– Kevin Owens will “respond to Kofi Kingston’s attack from last week.”
