The Latest Health Update On Bobby Heenan Inside Here

As noted earlier here on the website, Bobby Heenan is reportedly in very poor health at a Tampa, Florida hospital.

Lanny Poffo, brother of Randy Savage, said on the Who’s Slamming Who podcast this week that he heard from a friend that the WWE Hall of Famer “might be on his last legs.”

The wrestler formerly known as The Genius said Heenan has been “in and out of a coma” in a Tampa area hospital and is “not aware of anything.”

Heenan has been in poor health in recent years due to surgery on his throat and reconstructive jaw surgery.

It should be noted however, Great Lakes Championship Wrestling promoter David Herro wrote on Twitter that he heard from the wife of the WWE Hall of Famer, who said that Bobby is not hospitalized.

Herro wrote, “Just spoke with Cindy Heenan the lovely wife of “The Brain”, Bobby is NOT in a coma &is not in the hospital. He’s home resting his hip.”

Also, MVP recently tweeted: “Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan is in bad shape. Yrs ago he encouraged & complimented me! Keep him in your thoughts & send positive vibes his way!”
