— The death of longtime New Japan wrestler Kantaro Hoshino was due to pneumonia. He had been ill lately and in poor health overall since suffering a stroke in 2009.

— Ahmad Gill, the man who is accused of shooting and killing Chris “Solid” Long last weekend, entered a plea of not guilty yesterday in DeKalb County Magistrate Court.

— Faster, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, remained No. 7 Friday night taking in $3.23 million. The film is at $6.72 million, and should end up beating initial predictions.
