The award was given to him on the red carpet before the actual ceremony.

The choices for the “Best WWE Moment” award were:
- Roman Reigns’ triumphant return to Monday Night RAW
- Becky Lynch wins both RAW and SmackDown Womenβs Championships at WrestleMania 35
- Kofi Kingston wins first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35
- Ronda Rousey captures her first WWE Womenβs Championship at SummerSlam
Reigns also was a presenter during the official ceremony, giving a Best Coach award to the former head coach of the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team, Jim Calhoun.

Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Kofi Kingston and Batista were also in attendance at the awards.
