Mark Evans, the Senior Vice President of Sales at Fox Sports, spoke to The Big Lead and was asked if FOX is concerned about the downward trend of WWE’s ratings at a time when SmackDown is scheduled to move to FOX in two months.
According to the Big Lead, “Evans is not concerned, saying that’s the wrong word in terms of their feelings about the WWE ratings.”
He added, “We feel how we’re going to present and how we’re going to promote the WWE is going to inject it with such a new life. It’s going to be a home run for us.”
SmackDown will officially move to FOX starting on Friday, October 4.
