Lucha Libre AAA reportedly has postponed their Invading LA event in Inglewood, California from its initially announced October 13th date to now a potential early 2020 date, according to Post Wrestling and the Wrestling Observer.
Post Wrestling’s John Pollock reported that the host venue, The Forum, recently sent an official email stating that the event had been rescheduled to a new date that has yet to be announced.
One of AAA’s main event tier wrestlers recently had told friends that the company was moving the show to a potential early 2020 date, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported. Meltzer also reported that at the time of its postponement, AAA had only managed to sell around 3,000 tickets for the event albeit with no matches announced.
Cain Velasquez reportedly has one match remaining on his current deal with the company, which was expected to have taken place at this event prior to recent developments. It is currently not known if Velasquez’s debut for WWE at this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown in Los Angeles, California will have any effect on his current status with AAA.
